Renovated by: @thearrowanglers / Budget: $4,000 / Timeline: 6 Weeks
With plans to move overseas in the next year, Van and Lauren decided to sell (almost) everything and move into a renovated Keystone Everest, rather than moving in and out of homes.
They renovated this 5th wheel in 6 weeks and loved it so much they did a second one!
These two are such an incredible team and it’s easy to see how their combined skills are something pretty spectacular. Not only do they have a sense of humor and keep it real, but they know what’s important (hint: it’s not stuff), and share their highs and lows over on Instagram.

What led you to tiny living?
I read Marie Kondo’s book, The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up, and I couldn’t get the idea out of my head that we should live with less, more meaningful things. We were challenged by the way Jesus lived His life so simply, and joyfully. He thanked God the Father for every meal he was provided, and he learned to be content in all circumstances. With our little baby, we have realized how important it is for us to implement these Biblical examples’ way of life. We want her to see how her parents can be content in plenty and in want. This started with moving into a ‘tiny house’ and learning to get along well, even when things don’t go the way we expect them to.
How would you describe your decorating style?

Did you do everything yourself, pay a professional or do a mix of both?
We did it all OURSELVES! Hard to believe!
What has been your favorite place to explore so far during your journey?
The Nantahala gorge!
What Paint Colors DID YOU USE?
Sherwin Williams Passive Gray, and Iron Ore
Where’s your favorite place to shop for décor?
Hobby Lobby (we affectionately call her hobs lobs)

The buffalo plaid wallpaper, because it adds an extra little dose of beauty to the whole camper.

The stick on tile we thought would be the death of us!

Finishing! There were always more projects to finish-or so it seemed!

The paint I’d say!

GO IN ORDER-never step out of the order because honestly, it will take you longer if you don’t finish the projects you should finish first before moving on to the next one.
