Karla Bradley lives in a small town with her husband and 8 kiddos (soon to be 9!), and enjoys bringing old campers back to life. In fact, she’s renovated 12 RVs so far, and each one has been different. Today we’re taking a look inside her latest project, a remodeled Heartland Landmark with a modern traditional interior. It also has one of the largest, most luxurious bathrooms I’ve seen in an RV!

What inspired you to experience #RVlife?
We got our 1st camper about about 7 years ago and I wanted to make it more homey, and so I did a complete remodel and loved the process so I just kept doing them!
How often do you travel?
We usually stay in cabins even though I remodel campers because we have a family of 10 and it’s just more comfortable that way.
How would you describe your decorating style?
What’s your favorite aspect of interior design?
I love going into a camper and sort of letting the camper tell me what to do with the remodel! The sky is the limit and anything is possible.
Did you draw inspiration for this remodel from anything or anyone specific?
I use residential inspiration and take that into the campers to make them feel more like home.
What are your favorite places to source products and decor?
Amazon.
What project made the most difference?
The fireplace!
What was most challenging about this renovation?
Working in the winter!
What’s the most meaningful item you incorporated? Feel free to share the story behind it.
I love the daybed that we built in this camper because I picture a family cuddled up in the camper reading or watching TV together.
What’s your favorite splurge-worthy item that was incorporated into the interior?
This was already a luxury RV and and we did not skip any corners in the materials used – everything was high end and great quality!
What do you love most about this remodeled Heartland Landmark?
I love how cozy this is! I hope to find the new owner soon!
Do you have a favorite RV destination or camping spot?
There is something unique about all campgrounds and fun can be found at any of them!

I would say go into it with a plan but know that it will change along the way.
